I’m happy to report that I made good progress in March, so I have plenty of stuff to report in this month’s post. π
Worth the Risk in the final round of edits
This puts me on track to have this book out at the end of May. I don’t have an official release date yet.
A quick reminder, below are the books in the Marriage by Obligation Series so far. I’m not sure if I’ll add more books to this or start a new series. It depends on how things in Anyone But You go. I prefer shorter series as a reader, so I try to stick to 4-5 books in a series as a writer.

I am now over halfway into Tagalong Bride
And I am very happy with the way things are going. I’m at the point where the hero and heroine have been separated from the deputy who is helping them find the hero’s sister. That means I can finally get to the spicier portion of the book. But don’t think it’s going to that easy for our hero. He had some misgivings about our heroine earlier in the story. You see, this is more of a “marriage of convenience” sort of tale. So I can’t make it easy on him at this juncture. Something will have to get in his way. It won’t be her. She’s very much in love with him. But there are some things out in a desert that I can use to torment the hero. Maybe it’s wrong for a writer to enjoy messing with their characters, but I get a chuckle out of stuff like this.
Anyway, I just reached the 35,000 word mark this week. On average, my books hover around 60,000 words. So that gives you an idea of where I am in this one.
I will soon be halfway into Anyone But You
I am now at the 28,000-word mark in this one, and finally–after all of this time–the hero and heroine are speaking to each other. Things are taking a turn for the better. I was beginning to wonder if this moment would ever come. Now that it has, I can shift forward to the next part of the story, which is getting the two to fall in love.
This month, I am participating in only one BookFunnel Promo.
Here is the link to the promo!

This time put in The Rancher’s Bride, which is the second book in the Wyoming Series. Here are the books in that series:
If you haven’t read The Rancher’s Bride yet, this will be a good chance to get it, but you have to have a BookFunnel account to get it for free in this promotion. The Outlaw’s Bride is available for free across all retailers. The Rancher’s Bride follows up with a subtle plot point that was left hanging at the end of The Outlaw’s Bride. (This had nothing to do with the romance. The hero and heroine end up with their happily-ever-after ending at the end of The Outlaw’s Bride.) But anyway…overall, The Rancher’s Bride is a cute and funny story because of the ten-year-old matchmaker who is determined the hero and heroine will end up together. It puts a lighter spin on the otherwise more serious series.
But my book isn’t the only one in the promo. There are others as well, and you might find your next favorite author over there. π

I always look forward to your monthly emails.βThanks for the chance.βI think it might be time to start re-reading all your stories.
It feels good to have something to report so I can make these monthly posts. I missed doing them. I just didn’t have anything to share for the longest time. I’m glad you enjoy reading them! π Thank you for letting me know.
