January 2016 Newsletter

I decided to put off doing this post until the 3rd so that I could link up to two books that I have out.

A Groom’s Promise is Now Available!

a groom's promise

This one features two novels in one book.

“The Bride’s Choice” by Ruth Ann Nordin: Shy and clumsy Jack Warren has finally found the woman of his dreams, but her father wants her to marry his brother instead.

~~~*~~*~~~
“When the Whistle Blows” by Janet Syas Nitsick: Hugh Warren makes a deal to marry someone’s daughter as part of a land agreement. But when he meets the perfect lady, he must find a way out of the agreement, even if it means a little matchmaking.
For those of you who’ve been waiting for Richard Larson’s book, it’s finally here!
In a nutshell, here’s the description:  Richard’s loved Amanda for a long time, but he’s never had the courage to tell her.  When a situation arises that allows him to marry her in order to protect her, he jumps at the chance to propose.  But, in order to avoid possible rejection, he lets her believe theirs is only a marriage of convenience.
His Wicked Lady will be out January 9!
His Wicked Lady ebook cover
I was going to wait until February’s post to announce it, but I’ll make a post on this blog when it’s out since it comes out before the 15th.
The second draft of Convenient Mail Order Bride is now done!
The Convenient Mail Order Bride3
I was two weeks behind scheduled on this one, but I got it done and now it’s off to my editing team.    It’s due out February 21.
 Bonus Material from the Nebraska Series
COVER COMING SOON
This is an “extra” to the books I write.  I don’t expect many people to be interested in it since it’s not an actual book, but for those who’ve ever read and enjoyed the blog posts I’ve done with my characters, I thought this one would be a nice treat.  Dave Larson comes up quite a bit, and he’s one of my favorites–a favorite for a lot of you, too, from what you’ve told me. 🙂  So I thought I’d offer this for anyone who’s interested.  I’ll give more information about it as it gets closer to April 3.  April 3rd is when I’ll have it out.  I still need to do some tweaking after it comes back from the editor.
With the turn of the year, I’m getting started on these books:
I’m on chapter 2 in Her Devilish Marquess
This is the book that follows His Wicked Lady.  I still have a long way to go.  Actually, I have a long way to go on all of my current works in progress. 😉
I’m going to start The Mistaken Mail Order Bride this week
Due out June 5
This book follows The Convenient Mail Order Bride and features a very sweet and lovable but clumsy heroine.  She’s also plain in appearance.  Worse, she didn’t realize she went on the wrong stagecoach and ended up in the Colorado Territory.  The hero was expecting another mail-order bride, but since she didn’t show up, and the heroine had a young child to care for, he marries her even though he’s not attracted to her.  As we know, though, since this is a romance, he grows to be attracted to her in the end.
I’m on chapter one in The Marriage Agreement
Due out August 7
This one follows Wagon Trail Bride.  I still need to figure out how to begin this one, but it should come to me soon enough.
I’ll leave that there for now. 😀 I’ll let you know when His Wicked Lady is available.
Hope everyone has been having a great New Year!
