Breaking the Rules is Now Available!

Before you read Breaking the Rules, you might want to read the backstory for Miss Lilly Lowell and Mr. Roger Morris. They originally show up in The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife, and the events that happened to them do lead to Breaking the Rules.

Here’s the old cover:

I published The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife years ago, and I recently updated the cover so it’s more professional looking. Most of you have probably read it. If you haven’t though, it is free on the retailer of your choice. Here’s the links where I posted it on my other blog. (I’m already putting in a ton of other links in this post. There’s no need to clutter things up.) 😀

Now for the information on Breaking the Rules…

Breaking The Rules new ebook cover2

This is Book 1 in the Marriage by Design Series.

Here are the books I have planned for this series:

  • Breaking the Rules
  • Nobody’s Fool
  • A Deceptive Wager

Long story short, this is the book where I explain how Lilly and Roger ended up together. At the very end of The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife, Claire asks Lilly how she and Roger got married. This book answers that. So the time frame of this book is right before the epilogue in The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife.

After Roger had gone through everything he did with Lilly in The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife, he decided he’d have enough and stopped pursuing her. Once Lilly realized how terrible Lord Hedwrett was in The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife, she realize Roger would make the perfect husband. So this is where Breaking the Rules begin. I didn’t want to rehash the events of The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife because stuff like that bores me, which is why I suggest reading The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife first.

Here’s where you can find it if you’re interested in Breaking the Rules:

I finally have some release dates for future books established, and I’ll share them below.

The Duke’s Secluded Bride will be out April 26!

You can pre-order this at B&N, Kobo, and Apple right now. Click on the cover for the links.

I decided to put this one before The Rancher’s Bride because there isn’t much interest in the Wyoming Series. There is an interest in this book, and since this wraps up the Marriage by Fairytale Series, it makes the most sense to put this one out first.

The Rancher’s Bride will be out June 27!

This is also on pre-order at B&N, Kobo, and Apple. Links can be found by clicking on the cover.

I did finish The Rancher’s Bride and have just decided to publish it in late June. I went through my schedule this morning and realized I’ll be busy wrapping things up around the first of June with the homeschooling. I want to make sure I give sufficient time to put everything away where it belongs.

I plan so start The Fugitive’s Bride around the middle of March. At the moment, I’m not planning to add any more books to the Wyoming Series. I’m pretty sure I can wrap the whole series up with The Fugitive’s Bride.

So that brings me to the books I’ll pick up in the middle of March. I tried just writing two books at a time, but the method ended up in a two-week block where I wasn’t able to write in one book at all. So I’m going back to three at a time. And here they are:

A note about Tom and Jessica Larson’s 2nd daughter’s book since people have asked about it:

I don’t know what to do with Patricia Larson yet, so I’m holding off on writing the second book in the Husbands for the Larson Sisters Series. I rushed The Perfect Wife even though it wasn’t ready, and I received enough negative feedback to warn me to never rush another book again. It’s best to wait until the book is ready to write it. So whether that book comes out in 2021 or later will depend on when the right plot for this book comes to mind. I made an attempt at getting something started, but the whole thing fell apart on me so I had to put it aside.
