July 2019 Newsletter

Next month, I’ll make a post on August 1. I’ll keep this post shorter so I don’t end up repeating myself in a couple of weeks. 🙂

I waited until today to get this blog post out because The Wedding Pact is now available!

The Wedding Pact ebook cover

This is Book 3 in the Marriage by Fairytale Series. Here are all of the books:

I am going to write Book 5, which will be called The Duke’s Secluded Bride. I’ll give more details on that in the next blog post.

Here’s the description for The Wedding Pact:

On her 21st birthday, Ophelia was due to marry her guardian. Only she didn’t know it.

Miss Ophelia Crowe has led an extremely sheltered life. After her parents died when she was five, she went to live at her guardian’s country estate. She went on to live a life where everything was managed for her. From what she could wear to what activities she could do, each and every day had been carefully structured by the servants.

The problem was, she didn’t know who her guardian was…

Until the morning of her 21st birthday when the maids present her to him looking more like a doll than a lady who would like to have a say in her future.

And a doll is exactly the way he treats her. She comes to realize just how much he’s structured her life so that she’s been trained to be the kind of wife he wants. Well, she’s decided she won’t marry him. In a bold move, she runs off on a horse in the night in order to escape the fate everyone has set out for her ever since she was a child.

All Vicar Julian Roskin wants is to lead a quiet life. He’s caused enough trouble in the past. He doesn’t need any more problems. But, late one night, his safe and predictable world is turned upside down when a beautiful young lady ends up on his doorstep in need of protection. Protection, in this case, will require him to marry her.

Reason tells him not to do it. Nothing good can come from marriage to a lady he doesn’t know anything about. But something about her demands he take her up on her offer. Dare he take the risk, or should he do everything he can to send her back?

This is loosely inspired by the Little Red Riding Hood story.

August 31 will be the release date for this book:

Fairest of Them All ebook cover

It’s the next in the Marriage by Fairytale Series. I figured since I had both books already done that I would publish them close together.

I have two Larson books coming out later this year!

1. Nelly Larson (Tom and Jessica’s oldest daughter) will have her book coming out September 28.

Nelly's Mail Order Husband for website

2. Dave and Mary get their third and final book out in November 2.  It’s called Forever Yours. I am inserting this book between His Redeeming Bride and Isaac’s Decision in the Nebraska Series (aka Nebraska Historical Romances series). So this is now Book 9 in the series.

I don’t have a book cover for Forever Yours yet, but I will soon.

I figured it would be more fitting to have the Larsons coming out close together. They are my favorite family to write about, and I enjoy getting a chance to visit them whenever I can. For the moment, though, my mind is blank on what else to do with them, so the next books I’ll be writing won’t involve them. I want to make sure that the time is right when I go back into their world. 🙂

Have a great July and I’ll see you August 1!

    • Thanks, Jennie! That’s very sweet of you to say. I appreciate you letting me know how much you enjoyed it! I think Fairest of Them All is even better. (It’s one of my personal favorites), so I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy that one as well. 😀
