This is finally out!
Nelly is Tom and Jessica Larson’s oldest daughter.
This is a “fish out of water” type of story. The hero was used to being rich, but his family became broke, so he answers a mail-order husband ad, which he doesn’t realize Nelly’s sister posted on her behalf. He’s never heard of a homestead, but he assumes anyone who owns land is wealthy. Such, however, is not the case. Nelly manages alright, but she’s far from rich. She basically gets by. It was a lot of fun to put him in this scenario.
Now, Nelly does have three meddling sisters who want to see her get married since she’s the oldest sister. They pick out the hero because they envision their sister falling in love with someone like him. Some people reading this might not like the way these sisters behave, but I thought it was funny. I realize my sense of humor isn’t for everyone, so I thought I’d issue the warning in case this kind of scenario isn’t your cup of tea.
Nelly doesn’t want to get married because the available men in her area all expect her to stay inside all day to clean the house, cook the meals, and sew. This is stuff her sisters and mom enjoy. She, however, would rather be outside taking care of the animals and tending to the fields. She only agrees to give the hero a chance because he promises to let her continue to run the homestead. And from there, we get the rest of the book.
So if this book sounds like something you’d enjoy, here’s where you can find it:

Forever Yours is due out November 2!
I slid this into the Nebraska Series since Dave and Mary have two other books. So here’s the modified order of the Nebraska Series:
As a quick side note: I did update most of the covers. Retailers like authors to make their books as professional as possible, and some of my older covers needed the facelift. (I know I have a couple of other covers in other series to do, but I can only handle a little at a time due to everything else going on in my life.)
I have this on pre-order at the links below. I will be offering a coupon on Payhip for 50% off when this book is out.
This is Dave and Mary Larson’s third and final book. Eye of the Beholder and To Have and To Hold were both very serious storylines, so it’s actually nice to give them a story that’s lighthearted. It’s a cute and sweet story. (Though I say “sweet”, there are two scenes where Dave and Mary make love. The “sweet” is for the tone of the story.)
That aside, you can pre-order the book at these places:
The Outlaw’s Bride (Wyoming Series: Book 1) is in edits
I plan to have this one out in January. It’s already done, but I need to take it through my editing team before it’s ready. I’ve already started Book 2 in this series.
Quick Note: This is a rewrite of The Stagecoach Bride which I wrote with Stephannie Beman. I acquired the rights to this book and characters. I’ll be offering this for free with a coupon code at Smashwords and Payhip for a very limited time when this first comes out so that if you read The Stagecoach Bride, you don’t have to buy this book.

That brings us to the progress of what I’ve been writing. 🙂
I’m almost at Chapter 7 in this book
I now have two other books I’ll be writing based on the characters I’ve already introduced in this one. The heroine has two friends, whom I believe will make fun heroines to write about. I don’t have titles for them yet, but the plot of Book 2 has already developed.
This book is turning into a fun comedy. With Christopher Robinson and Lord Edon playing significant roles, it’s easy to create a lighthearted story. Those two were always full of mischief in one way or another. It’s nice to go back in time before those two married.
I just started Chapter 7 in this book
This has a great gothic feel to it. I think this will wrap up the Marriage by Fairytale Series. There are going to be five books in all.
I had a lot of fun with exploring gothic romance. I’m not sure when I’ll dip my toes back into this genre, but at the moment, the ideas I have for future books are going to be the kind of romances I typically do.
I’m Chapter 3 into this one
I started this soon after I finished The Outlaw’s Bride to keep in the storyline of the overall series. Each book is a standalone, but there’s also a thread in each story that runs through the entire series. I don’t know if this will be a three or four book series yet, but this is Book 2 in the Wyoming Series.
That’s all I have for now. I hope everyone has a great October!
