The Fugitive’s Bride (Wyoming Series: Book 3) is now available!
I’m happy to say that this series is finally complete after all these years. It’s a bittersweet experience to wrap this series up. I’ll miss working with the characters, but it’s satisfying to finally see this series reach a conclusion after all these years.
I do think it would be fun to write a story for Katie someday, but if I do, that will have to be when I come up with a suitable plot for her. As for Jeremiah, he gets his happy ending in The Fugitive’s Bride, so there’s no need to write his story.
I’m sure most of you already know this, but this is the story where Wade makes the push to get his ranch back. Millie is the young woman he rescued the night he, Mic, Abby, and Jeremiah went to get Lloyd, and since she has nowhere to go, he marries her so that if something happens to him, Lloyd will have a mother.

This turned out much better than I expected. I had no idea how the heroine was going to fall in love with the hero, but (to my relief) everything worked out. I wish I could say how, but I don’t want to spoil it

I’m hoping to finish A Deceptive Wager (Marriage by Design: Book 3) this month *fingers crossed*
I am still uncertain about how the hero and heroine will ever get along. I’ve put this on hold for the past couple of weeks to work on other things in order to give my mind time to figure out what I want to do with it. The hero has just realized he’s been unreasonable, but the heroine has had enough and has left to live with her friend.
I plan to get back to this tomorrow, and I hope inspiration strikes because I’m not sure how this hero can redeem himself in the heroine’s eyes. The book is mainly a comedy. There’s a lot of funny things that have happened up to now, but the story has taken a serious turn (which I don’t want to spoil). When I was writing Breaking the Rules, I had a vision of Aaron (who is Roger’s friend who doesn’t trust ladies) getting on his hands and knees to apologize to Kitty (who was slotted to be with him while I was writing that book). But Kitty was supposed to be the submissive type, and she turned out to be a spitfire. So that changes the dynamics of my original plan. And I’m writing completely in the dark on this book. I have NO idea how things will end, except that these two are going to be happy together.
Perfectly Matched (Husbands for the Larson Sisters: Book 2)
Patricia Larson is about to get her man. She and Erin, her sister, are both fighting to get Jim (can’t remember his last name off the top of my head) to pick one of them to marry. Jim was the friend Val in Nelly’s Mail Order Husband. Jim had been picked to marry a woman Val had warned him would make a bad wife. So Jim left and arrived in Omaha to Val’s surprise. Patricia and Erin, however, are delighted, and they are not making any secret about it. Poor Jim is feeling overwhelmed. 😛
I’m getting into Audiobooks!
A quick note: someone out there has stolen a couple of my books. I am in the process of getting these removed, but it’s taking some time. Please do NOT buy an audiobook that I do not list on my blog.
I’m not sure if anyone is interested, but I thought I’d include the audiobooks I’m working on since some people enjoy listening to them. I am planning to work through my backlist, and considering how many books I have, this will take some time.
Stevie Zimmerman is working on the Marriage by Fairytale Series with me, so One Enchanted Evening, The Wedding Pact, Fairest of Them All, and The Duke’s Secluded Bride will be coming in the next few months.
