The Rancher’s Bride (Wyoming Series: Book 2)
will be out June 27!
I now have it up on multiple retailers for pre-order if you want to reserve your copy today. I’ll post links below.
Also, I got new covers for all of the books in the Wyoming Series. 🙂
I’ve been thinking of a good way to sum up The Rancher’s Bride, and I think I finally nailed it down. Okay, so in a nutshell, the core romance is pretty cute. At the end of The Outlaw’s Bride, Abby and two-year-old Lloyd had gone missing after the family went in to rescue him. Abby’s story starts the night of the rescue. She ends up being pursued by one of Charles’ men, so she takes a detour away from Mic’s and Wade’s hideouts. In the process, she gets lost and ends up injured. She takes Lloyd to the nearest ranch, and on this ranch is Thayne and his ten-year-old niece, Katie.
Katie, as it happens, has been praying for her uncle to get married so she can have a “mother”, so for her, Abby is meant to end up staying with them at the ranch, and she takes every opportunity to work in some matchmaking. She goes around telling Thayne that Abby is interested in him, and she turns around and tells Abby that Thayne is interested in her. That part of the books brings in a lot of humor.
But there’s also the more serious side of the story because there’s a lot of pain these characters have to contend with. Thayne was a doctor in the Civil War, and the effects of watching young men die in the war has left him emotionally scarred. Wade is critically wounded in his hideout and doesn’t even know if Abby and Lloyd are alive. Jeremiah has been given the task of finding Abby and Lloyd. So there were some moments in the book that made me cry while writing it.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, here is where you can find the book:

The Fugitive’s Bride (Wyoming Series: Book 3)
will be coming out in August!
I was originally going to have Nobody’s Fool out in August, but I’m not even close to being done with that book. I don’t want to rush that book to have it ready for an August release, so I’m going with the book that I’m almost done with, and that is The Fugitive’s Bride. I’m actually writing the ending right now, but I have to go back and fill in some of the middle. I don’t usually write the ending first, but in this case, I was uncertain about Wade making the attempt to get his ranch back that I wanted to get it out of the way. I figure I’m about 80% of the way into the whole book. Right now I’m in the final scene which is really the epilogue. I’ll be going back to the middle of the book after I’m done wrapping everything up.
This is the last book in the series. I’ve been asked if Jeremiah will get his own book. No, he won’t. He doesn’t need it. His happy ending is not him getting married again. His happy ending is something else, and he does get it at the end of The Fugitive’s Bride.
This is Wade’s book. Wade had given Lloyd to Abby that night they rescued him because Millie (who was in the stagecoach with Lillian in The Outlaw’s Bride) was forced to be a nanny to Lloyd. Millie asked Wade to take her out of there, and he did. So we find out what happens to them in this book.

I’m about 55% or 60% into Nobody’s Fool.
This is Book 2 in the Marriage by Design Series.
Our heroine has thrown in some schemes to convince the hero to not fall in love with her, but everything’s been backfiring on her. This a romantic comedy, so these attempts she’s making and the way they’re backfiring are funny. This is not a book to be taken seriously.

I’m about 50% into A Deceptive Wager.
This is Book 3 in the Marriage by Design Series.
This is another romantic comedy where that involves a battle of wills scenario. I’ll get more into it in the future, but it’s been a lot of fun to write.

That’s it for now. I hope everyone has a great June!
