Interview for a Wife will be out September 25
This finishes up the Nebraska Prairie Series.
I was able to get this on pre-order before everything went south in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately, I’m unable to keep the original release dates for the other books I’m currently working on.
Pushing back release months on the rest of my books
August hit me hard, and I was unable to write for most of the month. Through all of July, I was already struggling to finish The Cursed Earl so it would be ready for November. When August came, I got sick, and it took me three weeks to get to the point where I could write again. Right now, I am unable to write as much as I did before because writing about 500 words in a book a day tires me out. (I usually do 1,000 words in a book a day.) Things are getting better, but it’s taking time to bounce back.
Instead of stressing myself out by rushing The Cursed Earl, I decided to delay it’s release to January. Because of this, I moved the other books back, too.
This is now set for January 9
This is Book 2 in the Marriage by Necessity Series.
This week, I was finally able to pick up on writing again, and I reached the 60,000-word mark. I still have longer to go before this book is finished. I don’t plot books out ahead of time, so I have no idea how much longer this will be. I’ve figured out who the villain is, but I’m not sure how the villain is going to make his final move. Once I get that piece of the puzzle, the book will practically write itself.
This is now set for March 13
This will finish up the Wyoming Series.
I’m almost at 33,000 words in this one. That puts me at the halfway point. Jeremiah is reluctant to do anything about his feelings for Katie. Katie isn’t fighting her feelings, but she’s being very smart in how she’s handling the situation. I think she learned a thing or two from watching Thayne and Abby drag their feet on admitting they wanted to be together. š
I’m currently at the scene where Jeremiah is going to give Katie a book. That will send Katie over the moon. She loves books. If all goes well, she’ll be able to sneak in a kiss.
This is set for May 15
This is Book 3 in the Husbands for the Larson Sisters Series.
Book 4 to be added
I am at 36,000 words in this one, and I suspect I already passed the halfway point. It’s hard to know for sure until Daisy (the youngest of Tom and Jessica Larson’s daughters) is successful in pulling off a scheme to get Erin to marry Alex. Daisy is sure that Erin has grown rather fond of Alex during the time they’ve been trying to match him up with someone, and she sees no reason to let Erin miss a good thing. After all, everything worked out perfectly when she had a hand in getting Nelly married. So why wouldn’t she be successful at making Erin happy?
